Guest Interview – Business Coach – Sue Bezuidenhout
I’m super excited to bring you my second guest interview.
Each week, I’ll be having a similar online cup of tea with a friend, colleague or mentor.
This series of informal chats is with people I respect, and who I’m keen to learn more about!
I know they’ll be interesting, surprising, motivating and bring you great conversation and ideas. Above all will share something of themselves with you.
So, if you like a good conversation, why not make a brew, sit down and spend a few minutes with friends.
Hi, great to chat! Please give my readers a quick introduction to you, where you live and what you do
Sue Bezuidenhout. Bredasdorp, small town in Western Cape, South Africa. I am a Behavioural Skills Development Specialist and Business Coach. I own my own training consultancy, Pennydrop Training Solution.
Something you love about your home town, and why people should come visit
It is in the Overberg – a region of diverse people, nature (Fynbos, Vineyards, Whales), and is very close (appr 37 km) from L’Agulhas – which is the MOST SOUTHERN TIP of Africa where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.
Would you tell us about something or someone in your life, that motivates you each day?
I am grateful that I can lead a purpose-aligned life. I know that what I am busy doing is in line with my higher purpose – and this gives me resilience and joy while working. Also, as an entrepreneur I manage my own time – which is to me, certainly one of the biggest freedoms.
Who is one of your online mentors, why they inspire you and how can people find them
Carl Brooks – www.carlbrooks.com
(NOTE from Christie – Sue and I were lucky enough to attend one of Carl Brooks’ retreats – TOTALLY amazing, totally recommended. That guy knows his stuff, check him out!)
An ambition you haven’t achieved yet
To have the capacity to travel often as part of my work
How do you keep fit and healthy
Quiet time in the mornings – prayer and journalising. Try and take a 4km walk through town every day. Practice sport (Tennis and Bowls)
