Guest Interview – Author – R M Hamrick
I’m thrilled to be launching my new guest interviews.
Each week, I’ll be having an online cup of tea with a friend, colleague or mentor.
This series of informal chats are with people I respect, and who I’m keen to learn more about! I know they’ll bring you great conversation and ideas.
They’ll be interesting, surprising, motivating and above all will share something of themselves with you.
So, if you like a good conversation, why not make a brew, sit down and spend a few minutes with friends.
Now, let’s meet our guest, writer, R M Hamrick!
Hi, great to chat! Please give my readers a quick introduction to you, where you live and what you do
My name is Rebekah Hamrick. I live in Savannah GA USA. I’m an author, online running coach, and work in the medical field.
Something you love about your home town, and why people should come visit
Lots of people already visit Savannah, and for good reason. It’s the US’s largest historic district. The live oaks covered in spanish moss and humidity you can bite into is the epitome of southern living.
What do you wish you knew when you were a teenager
That I had depression and I should seek medical care.
Would you tell us about something or someone in your life, that motivates you each day?
Living with my husband encourages me to be a good partner and help build a life better than either of us could do alone.
Who is one of your online mentors, why they inspire you and how can people find them
Sarah Rhea Werner of the Write Now Podcast. She speaks on lifestyle balance as well as elements in fiction. https://www.sarahwerner.com/
An ambition you haven’t achieved yet
Write a series of medical thrillers
How do you keep fit and healthy
For cardio, I run. For strength, I pole dance. Both challenge me, interest me, and keep me mentally strong. I eat a variety of healthy and unhealthy food to fuel my body.
